Tuesday's are always my favorite days because it marks one more week closer to meeting the Reese's Cup. The updates on my phone brighten my morning slightly more. So, this is the 14 week mark. I cannot believe how fast the time is going by. I have my next appointment next week and I cannot wait. I am seriously just biting at the bit waiting for it. 8 more days until I get to hear the heartbeat, maybe get a sneak peak at the more developed "cup" and even an idea of gender?! Who knows. All I know is that I am so anxious it is going to drive me insane!
Anyway's, other than having back some insane amount of energy (although it is still less than pre-pregnancy) nothing new. I had a few night's where I was sick but I genuinely think that is due to a stomach virus, considering my nights have been fine since. Who really knows...
In other news, today was the last time in the next 5.5 months that my husband will likely see the "smaller" me. The next time he sees me I will be approximately 24 weeks pregnant! I dropped him off at the boat for his 2- 2.5 month dry dock. The dog has been more upset than me I swear! He refused to get off the bed and now instead of snuggling in his cage for the night he is whining on my bed. Looks like I have a new sleeping buddy for the next couple months. Although these next 10 weeks will for sure be difficult I know that we will be just fine. 17 weeks at OCS, 8 weeks at Boot Camp. I think if he wasn't gone for those long periods of time our love wouldn't be as strong as it is. Plus I would just get so tired of him ;). Fortunately during this time we are still able to talk on the phone, skype if he has internet capabilities and even see each other if the timing lines up. Even more exciting is that I will have two awesome weeks planned during these two months. In March I will be flying back to Maryland for a week to hang out with family and friends and show off this growing bump ;). In April, my sister, brother in-law and nephew will be visiting for a week with some exciting events already planned!!
All in all the week since my last update has been uneventful- baby-wise. I feel the growing of stomach though, tonight was especially tight in my lower abdomen. Just waiting to feel some little movement from the little one. Maybe in the next couple weeks!
Thanks for reading and catching up. Here is the latest picture of the growing bump. At 14 weeks, finally starting to show a little while wearing clothes :). (And of course Rango checking out what in the world I was doing!)
